The Copilot Plan is a direct partnership with us, the founders. We’ll work with you one-on-one to turn your idea into a real application. The process is simple. Once you’re accepted, you’ll get a private Slack/Discord channel—your direct line to our founding team. In this channel, we will:
  • Strategize Your Product: We’ll work with you to refine your idea, define requirements, and create a clear roadmap for your first version.
  • Solve Any Technical Roadblock: When you hit a bug or a complex feature, we act as your on-demand developers, providing the exact fix to keep you moving forward.
  • Iterate at High Speed: Have a new idea or need a change? We provide rapid responses so you can adapt and evolve your app without losing momentum.
The result is simple: You build with momentum and the confidence that you will cross the finish line.

Yes. The Copilot Plan is currently free for selected participants. In exchange for our dedicated, hands-on help, we ask for your honest feedback to help us build the future of step1.dev.
We’re looking for people who can dedicate at least a few hours per week to their project. Consistency is more important than the total number of hours. We’ll ask about this in the application form.
Not at all! A clear idea of the problem you want to solve and the first 1-3 features you want to build is perfect. We’ll help you flesh out the rest.
The app is 100% yours. You can launch it, share it, or continue to develop it on step1.dev. Our goal is to get you to the finish line, and we’ll be your biggest cheerleaders when you get there.
